LSU star Angel Reese links up with Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant before her team’s NCAA victory parade as she shares TikTok video of them dancing to NBA Youngboy hit

LSU women’s basketball player Angel Reese has been in the spotlight since the Tigers won the national championship, most notably teaming up with Ja Morant.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ main man appeared to be on campus at LSU in a video released on Reese’s social media Wednesday.

Both danced to NBA Youngboy’s ‘Fresh Prince of Utah’, notably the lyrics ‘Issa parade inside my city’, which Morant’s daughter recently said postgame.

Morant and the Grizzlies were in Louisiana for Wednesday night’s game against the Pelicans, which they lost 138-131 in overtime. Morant was unable to play in the loss due to a strained left hip.

During the title parade on Wednesday, Reese couldn’t help but make the ‘you can’t see me’ gesture she employed in the final moments of the national championship game against Iowa last Sunday.
In contrast to Clark, Reese frequently utilized the gesture in the sequence, following her around the court in an attempt to goad Clark, as opposed to the one-time motion by the Naismith Player of the Year in the Final Four victory over South Carolina.

Reese was voted the NCAA tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, and she has transferred her tenacity and outgoing demeanor from the court to social media.

Following LSU’s victory, First Lady Jill Biden proposed inviting runners-up Iowa to the White House, a practice often held for just the winners.

Reese dismissed the proposal as a ‘joke’ and refused to accept an apology from the First Lady.

‘As soon as that happened, we [the crew] went to the group chat and said, “What are we doing?” Are you attempting to go? “We made a lot of phone calls, which is why she wants to come and apologize,” Reese stated on I Am Athlete’s ‘Paper Route’ show.

I won’t lie to you because I refuse to accept her apologies… I stated what I said. You felt like they [Iowa] should have come for sportsmanship, so they could have that attention. We’ll visit the Obamas. We’ll see Michelle and Barack.

LSU’s athletic administration has subsequently stated that they will ‘definitely accept’ the invitation to visit the Bidens, according to CNN.

Reese also stated that Jill Biden was set to visit LSU’s locker room before the game, but the players turned her down.

‘She was supposed to come to our locker room then go to Iowa’s locker room. I don’t know if she spoke to them. I’m not sure whether she did, Reese remarked.Reese went further, also pointing at her finger signifying her imminent championship ring

But we claimed we didn’t want to. We didn’t want her entering the changing room.
Morant’s status for Friday night’s game against Milwaukee is unknown, with only two games remaining on the Grizzlies regular season schedule.

Morant had a victorious return with the Grizzlies
While not mathematically certain, Memphis (50-30) appears to be the favorite to win the Western Conference’s second seed over Sacramento (48-32).

Morant has been back playing for the franchise since March 22, after a two-week absence.

The former No. 2 overall pick sought counseling in Florida following a league-imposed suspension for flashing a gun in a Denver strip club on March 4.
