The Gunners academy graduate has struggled for game time over the past two seasons, playing under 700 minutes in that time, leading to speculation he could be sold.

Palace are among the clubs interested in the England international and could approach Arsenal if they let Michael Olise join Bayern Munich. However, Smith Rowe wants to stay at Arsenal despite his limited playing time.

Smith Rowe still wants to stay at Arsenal.

The 23-year-old midfielder was once regarded as one of the academy’s best graduates. Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka made big impressions at the start of Arteta’s tenure, but he has been dropped from the starting line-up following the emergence of Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing.

Arsenal continue to add quality on the wing with Leandro Trossard, while captain Martin Odegaard is sure to start in Smith Rowe’s preferred No.10 position.

With Smith Rowe’s contract expiring in June 2026, Arsenal could be willing to keep him.
