Stunning photographs of the Liverpool squad in their 2024–25 home uniforms have surfaced, and the players couldn’t be cooler for it

Liverpool FC’s new home uniform for the 2024–25 season has been announced.

This will be the first set of Reds uniforms worn by manager Arne Slot in his first season in charge, and they will likely debut it at Jurgen Klopp’s farewell match against Wolves on May 19.

Supposedly, the design from the 1984 European Cup-winning team served as inspiration for the uniform (below). Liverpool FC describes the jersey as having a chrome yellow pattern of the club’s slogan, YNWA, carved into the fabric. It is a retro uniform design that has been updated for the modern game.

The distinctive collar of the jersey pays homage to the legendary collar of the 1984 squad with its classic yellow and red design. You can see the yellow and white side panels on the shirt and the shorts.

At the back of the jersey, boldly displayed at the nape of the neck, is the 97 emblem encircled by the eternal flames, a fitting tribute to the innocent lives lost in the Hillsborough disаster.

You can pre-order the new kit and have it delivered on launch day, May 16, from LFC’s official web store, official LFC stores (UK and internationally), and the LFC Retail App. Pre-orders begin today.

The new uniform has “I like the detailing,” as Captain Virgil van Dijk put it. Wearing the kit with You’ll Never Walk Alone on it is quite remarkable; it openly displays the club’s culture.

As in other years, all official members of LFC and season ticket holders will enjoy a 10% discount on the home shirt. Students in the UK can use Student Beans to access this, while vital professionals can use Blue Light and Network.
