Italian journalist Fabio Santini recently shared an update on the future of Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and mentioned Arsenal’s interest in the Argentina international.

Martinez just helped Inter win the Serie A championship. He is currently negotiating a new contract with the club, although he still has an agreement with the home team Giuseppe Meazza until 2026.

Santini claims that the Italian giants have offered a salary of between 9 million euros and 9.5 million euros per year. But Martinez is asking for 12 million euros per year. That is also Arsenal’s opportunity. However, Inter set the price for this 26-year-old striker at 140 million euros.

Santini said: “There was a source this morning that Arsenal wanted Thuram. In fact, they wanted Lautaro too. Inter does not care about this at all.

However, if Lautaro says he wants 12 million euros or he will leave, Inter will say ‘great, if Arsenal offer 140 million euros, we will sell’.”
