Curtis Jones, a star player for Liverpool, and his partner are expecting their first child. The midfielder’s girlfriend, Saffie Khan, revealed the information in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The couple, who have been together for a while, released a video last year that included footage from their anniversary trip to Paris and details the pregnancy. The video also features a number of scan photos and Saffie telling Jones that there is good news about the baby.

In the video, which ends with the words “to our baby girl,” Ed Sheeran’s song “Photograph” plays, and several of Jones’ Liverpool coworkers give him props.

Bobby Clark, Ryan Gravenberch, Stefan Bajčetić, and Morgan Gibbs-White, a midfielder for Nottingham Forest and former England teammate, all offered their support to Jones.

Jones, 23, has made 35 appearances for Liverpool this season in all competitions. Until an ankle ιnjury kept him out of action for more than two months earlier in the season, he was an essential part of Jürgen Klopp’s plans.

After that, the midfielder was fully healthy again and participated in the last fifteen minutes of Monday night’s game against Aston Villa. He gave his thoughts on his performance early in the season and stated that he expects to be included in Arne Slot’s plans for next season.
