Ja Morant enlisted his daughter Kaari’s assistance to help him debut his first unique shoe, which he revealed on Sunday with the help of a touching video.

In the video, Kaari approaches Morant, who is seated on a wooden bench, and gives him a wrapped shoebox.

With Kaari’s assistance, Morant opens the package to discover his very own Nike sneaker, the Ja1, in a light blue, pink, and yellow colorway.

Morant tweeted a picture of the shoe and stated, “I didn’t get here by myself.”

“This is dedicated to Dalzell, Murray, Memphis, and all those who supported 12 from the beginning.”

Although the guard will make his shoe debut during Memphis’ Christmas matchup with the Warriors, ESPN reports that the sneakers won’t be retailing until spring and summer of 2023.
The shoe, which has a mesh and leather top and the star’s “Ja” emblem on the tongue, is anticipated to retail for $110.


“Not many players have been able to accomplish the simple feat of having a signature shoe with Nike,” Morant said to ESPN.

“It’s an important turning point in my life that I will never forget.”

This season, the 23-year-old has led Memphis to a 20-11 record ahead of their first-ever Christmas game. He is averaging 26.5 points per game.
