OFFICIAL! Arsenal’s longest-tenured player Mohamed Elneny will leave the club at the end of the season

Through his personal social network account, midfielder Mohamed Elneny confirmed that he will leave Arsenal this summer.

Elneny joined Arsenal in January 2016 and made 161 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners after more than 8 years of dedication. Currently in the first team, the Egyptian star is the player with the longest tenure with the club.

However, Elneny’s time at the Emirates Stadium team is about to come to an end because recently, in the latest video posted on his personal social network accounts, the 31-year-old midfielder announced that he will leave the northern club. London after the contract between the two sides expires next summer.

“Arsenal fans, today I’m here to say goodbye and thank you for your support all the time . I appreciate your love and trust. I will definitely miss this team, Arsenal will always be a part of my heart ,” Elneny said.

In more than 8 years of dedication to the Gunners, the Egyptian player won 1 FA Cup and 2 Community Shields.

As for Arsenal, the north London club still has a chance to end this season with the Premier League title. On the current rankings, the home team at Emirates Stadium is ranked 2nd with 86 points after 37 matches, 2 points behind Man City. If Arsenal defeats Everton this weekend and Man City stumbles against West Ham United, Mikel Arteta’s team will quench their 20-year thirst for the Premier League title.
